A manufacturer was looking for a solution to detect dents in their cans as they moved along the conveyor belt. Oxipital AI implemented a system using two cameras to inspect both sides of the can. This allowed the identification of two distinct types of dents, each caused by a different process. Knowing which type of dent occurs, allows the manufacturer to quickly address issues related to the corresponding process, ultimately reducing waste and achieving cost savings.
